What does this AI tool do?

This tool uses OpenAI’s Whisper model to automatically transcribe speech from audio or video files into written text. It supports multiple languages and is ideal for converting spoken content—such as interviews, meetings, voice notes, or podcasts—into clean, readable transcripts. Please note that this tool provides transcription only and does not translate between languages.

Which languages are supported?

Whisper supports over 50 spoken languages, including English, Vietnamese, Spanish, French, German, Japanese, Korean, and many others. The tool detects the language automatically and transcribes the speech into text in the same language. Translation across languages is not available in this version.

How many files can I transcribe per day?

The free version allows up to 3 transcription attempts per day. This limit resets every 24 hours. For unlimited usage, priority processing, and additional features, please reach out to us for premium access options.

Is my audio or transcript stored on your servers?

No. Your privacy is important to us. All uploaded files are processed in memory and are automatically deleted after transcription is complete. We do not store or share any audio or transcript data with third parties.

How long does the transcription process take?

In most cases, transcription is completed in under a minute, depending on the length and quality of your file. Longer or noisier files may take slightly more time. You will see the transcript appear on-screen as soon as processing finishes.

Can I download, copy, or edit the transcript afterward?

Yes. Once the transcript is generated, you can view it directly on the page, copy it, or download it for your personal or professional use. If any minor corrections are needed, you may manually adjust the text after generation.
